The document solution company has unveiled a new addition to the TASKalfa Pro family

Kyocera Document Solutions UK has unveiled the TASKalfa Pro 1500c/B, a mono inkjet production printer which is reported to use up to 70% less power than laser-based counterparts.
The latest printer is a sister device to the colour TASKalfa Pro 15000c and is the latest addition to the TASKalfa Pro family, a range of printers that work in partnership with PrintReleaf and myclimate.
The new printer is made for transactional printing and mailing houses looking for high-speed continuous printing without image quality deterioration.
Key features include water-based, eco-friendly ink, 1,000,000 print volume per month, a print capability of 150 A4 pages per minute, and a wide range of media handling.
Group sales & marketing director at Kyocera UK, Martin Fairman, says: "The TASKalfa Pro 15000c/B is a robust addition to our production print portfolio and will ensure more customers with high-volume print requirements can get their work done efficiently and at the lowest possible cost.
“Sustainability is a crucial consideration for us at Kyocera, and we always want to ensure this philosophy shines through in our products. The TASKalfa Pro 15000c/B is another significant step forward in this endeavour, as it enables customers to fulfil their print needs without worrying about environmental cost.”
Kyocera’s PrintReleaf and myclimate initiative means that Kyocera will plant one tree for every 8,333 sheets printed on their inkjet device, and carbon offset the production and transportation of the printer plus genuine consumables for its standard-rated lifetime.
The company says that the latest digital press is highly efficient and economical as it uses proprietary inkjet technology and large printheads to enable fast single-pass printing.
Fairman concludes: "We look forward to seeing what our customers think of the new printer and are particularly pleased to offer another device that strikes a balance between a product that meets the demands of users while being fully carbon neutral.”
