Drupa’s Touchpoint Sustainability forum will cover the entire added value chain across the 11-day show

A central forum at drupa 2024, the new Touchpoint Sustainability feature will focus on the holistic role of print and paper within global sustainability.

Taking up over 400sq m of space, the forum will see around 30 exhibitors present best practice examples from all stages of the value chain.

Running from May 28th to June 7th in Hall 14, Booth D60, the forum promises to provide “both an overview of the status quo as well as attractive perspectives for the future”.

Described as a “dialogue platform and showroom in one”, the Touchpoint Sustainability forum will be hosted by the German industrial association, VDMA Printing and Paper Technology.

VDMA Printing and Paper Technology also designed the stand and has divided it into different areas of the added value chain: raw materials, production, usage, and recycling.

Topics discussed on the forum cover the consumption of energy and resources during the production processes, the use of material and printing inks, the recycling of colours, and finishing processes.

Brands involved in the forum include well-known names such as Epson, HP, Koenig & Bauer, Kurz, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen, Müller Martini, as well as a host of specialised start-ups.

A total of over 100 sessions will take place across the 11-day show with the agenda being distributed across the entire booth with eight to ten sessions running each day.
