Fiery has announced the launch of the Fiery FS700X Pro platform, which offers a range of automation and colour management tools to maximise output for Xerox Proficio solutions
Fiery, a global provider of digital front ends (DFEs) and workflow software for the print industry, has announced the launch of the Fiery FS700X Pro platform, which is custom-designed for Xerox Proficio solutions.
Fiery FS700X Pro, which has first been introduced with the new Xerox Proficio PX500 and PX300 production presses, is designed to simplify job setup, reduce downtime, and help deliver more consistent, premium output.
The new solution, based on Fiery’s previous FS700 Pro platform, offers tools including a Smart Estimator designed to help teams quote with confidence by understanding production costs up front.
The Easy Vitals and Job Progress Light tools offer built-in visual alerts and health monitoring, allowing operators to see issues with their presses early and stay ahead of problems before they arise.
Manual steps can also be reduced with a number of exclusive Fiery JobExpert presets, which provide custom-tuned settings to help operators get faster output without the need for additional tweaking.
As expected, FS700X Pro also offers a range of Fiery’s latest colour prediction, automation, and refinement tools to help maximise colour vibrancy and accuracy while minimising the need for fine-tuning.
Included in the platform are co-developed features like Xerox’s PredictPrint Media Manager and its EZ Color Check technology, which combine with Fiery’s 1-Step colour management and Zero-Touch recalibration to deliver hands-free, automated media setup and colour management.
The DFE offers Fiery’s Edge profiling technology and Delta E linearisation across all calibration methodologies, allowing for consistent, predictable color accuracy across various setups and outputs. These technologies aim to provide rich detail, smooth gradients, and accurate colour across both CMYK and extended gamut applications.
Rounding up the platform’s capabilities is specialty colour and embellishment management and custom tuned output profiles, developed to allow print teams to produce consistent premium colour and extended gamut output.
