Reproflex3, a pre-press specialist for the packaging industry, has announced a new partnership with Hybrid Software UK.

The strategic partnership brings together Reproflex3’s flexographic printing technology with Hybrid’s Software’s solutions for the industrial printing sector.

Hybrid will collaborate with Reproflex3 to provide a cloud-based platform with API integration across all six of Reproflex3 international sites. The platform is designed to provide secure access, streamline operations, delivering consistent results regardless of location.

Reproflex3 services the UK, European, Middle Eastern, North African, Indian, and Asia-Pacific markets, with sites in Newcastle upon Tyne, Dubai, Mumbai, Christchurch, and Auckland.

According to a statement from Hybrid Software, the collaboration aims to “redefine pre-press workflows by integrating advanced technologies that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration for global brands and commercial printers.”

Speaking of the collaboration, Andrew Hewitson, chief executive officer of Reproflex3, says: “As a global leader in prepress services, we are committed to equipping our clients with the latest tools and innovations.

“Partnering with Hybrid Software allows us to streamline workflows, enhance automation, and support the evolving demands of modern printers and converters. Their ambition to grow and deliver excellence aligns perfectly with ours.”

Paul Bates, UK and global accounts sales manager at Hybrid Software UK, adds: “Reproflex3 has a long-standing reputation for innovation in flexographic printing.

“Our solutions complement their vision to set new standards in pre-press workflows. This partnership not only reinforces our commitment to the industry but also enables us to deliver the next generation of tools that will transform how packaging graphics are managed and produced.”

Hybrid Software will be displaying a range of its print solutions at the upcoming Hunkeler Innovationdays trade show in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Among the wide portfolio of solutions featured by Hybrid at Hunkeler will be its SmartDFE technology, a digital front-end for single-pass digital presses.

SmartDFE’s capabilities include an AI-accelerated Harlequin raster image processor (RIP) that drives data inline directly to the printhead electronics, as well as integrated pre-press workflow automation and advanced PDF editing tools.

Hybrid has also finalised the agenda for its Hybrid Fusion Packaging Summit event, taking place in April in Amsterdam.

The event is billed as having a ‘customer-first’ focus, with an agenda that includes interactive sessions, keynote speakers, and a variety of networking opportunities.

The summit will include factory visits to three Hybrid Software customers and partners, namely Geostick, Intergrafipak, and AV Flexologic. The company will take attendees on a tour of their facilities for the production of labels, folding cartons, and mounted flexo printing plates.

Hybrid Fusion 2025 also incorporates a partner programme, which provides attendees’ partners with opportunities for cultural exploration.

Those interested in attending the Hybrid Fusion 2025 event have been encouraged to register on the Hybrid Software website.
