Provider of management information systems (MIS), Optimus has highlighted what it will be showing at drupa 2024.
Included in the company’s lineup will be the launch of Optimus’ new ‘Mobile Customer Information Centre’. The browser-based platform provides instant access to all current and historical customer information.
Key features include intuitive navigation that maintains a history of each session as well as a responsive user face presenting key customer insights.
Nicola Bisset, group managing director of Optimus, says: “Customer expectations are higher than ever before. They want fast, accurate responses when they have a question or issue. Our new Mobile Customer Information Centre empowers our clients’ staff with all the data they need at their fingertips to deliver exceptional service.”
Also launching at drupa will be Optimus’ new ‘Optimus Information Centre’ which centralises a company’s entire business data into a single, intuitive hub.
The Information Centre features customisable dashboards and real-time alerts based on individual roles or departments as well as key sales, production, and financial insights.
Bisset says: “For over 40 years, Optimus has been renowned for the integrity and richness of its data. With the Optimus Information Centre, we’re taking the next evolutionary step by centralising all that trusted data into one easily accessible place, providing greater transparency and driving more informed decision-making across the business.”
Another new innovation being introduced at drupa by Optimus is the company’s new ‘Ask Optimus AI’ concept. Still in development, Optimus plans to present this solution to gauge visitors’ response to investment in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Designed to determine trends and business-critical information to drive profitability and performance, Ask Optimus AI enables users to ask questions about their data and obtain answers in seconds.
Optimus has also partnered with Carbon Quota to obtain accurate automated carbon reporting within its solutions as well as with Element, enabling customers to import any spreadsheet into Optimus and automatically create quotes or jobs.
By partnering with Carbon Quota, Optimus can enable its users to assess the environmental impact of substrates, production, consumables, transport, and what happens to a product at the end of its life. This is done using Carbon Quota’s world-first integrated Carbon Calculator.
An estimator inputs a print specification into a user’s Optimus Core MIS system, and this is submitted, saved, and validated and then run through a unique carbon calculation machine learning algorithm.
Next, using the specification data, a carbon footprint for the job is calculated. The value is then returned to the Optimus Core MIS and a carbon footprint for that job is displayed.
These partnerships will be formally announced at drupa on the Optimus booth.
Drupa 2024 will take place from May 28th to June 7th in the Dusseldorf Exhibition Centre, Germany.
