B2B packaging company, Kite Packaging, has released its latest pallet truck, designed to cater to the needs of warehouses, distribution centres, and retail spaces

B2B packaging supplier, Kite Packaging, has announced the launch of a new pallet truck, designed for the safer handling of palletised loads. The truck is available in both standard and scale-equipped models.
The scaled version accurately measures weights in increments of 0.5kg and can be operated either by an onboard control panel.
The pallet trucks feature a hydraulic pump mechanism that securely raises pallets off the ground, allowing heavy loads to be moved more easily. The feature has been added to increase operational efficiency and ensure the safe handling of heavier loads, reducing risk of injury for workers.
Other key features and benefits include an adjustable fork height from a low of 85mm to a high of 195mm, as well as a maximum load capacity of 2,000kg.
The pallet truck is also fitted with nylon wheels, with 180mm diameter steering wheels along with 70mm tandem wheels. Nylon was chosen as it creates less friction compared to other wheel material types.
Along with the release of the product, Kite Packaging have announced a range of wholesale discounts along with free delivery on orders over £45. More information can be found on the Kite Packaging website.

The company has released a range of new products in recent months, including a case erector machine, designed to automate the process of assembling cardboard boxes from unassembled sheets.
The company was also recently awarded the CSR Initiative of the Year award at the 2024 UK Packaging Awards, for their Management Degree Apprenticeship programme.
Kite has invested over £1m to date in technical training as part of its apprenticeship programme, enrolling apprentices in university degree courses. As part of the scheme, apprentices have gained hands-on experience at the company’s headquarters while studying for bachelor’s degrees in Packaging at Sheffield Hallam and Supply Chain Management at Aston.
